Keep rolling, sausage rolling

Good evening all, it's been a while and I'm sorry. I have become a Winter Olympics addict and have barely moved off my sofa all week. #lovecurling

Lovely valentines lunch yesterday, with a huge Gin & Tonic and pretty dress (more to come soon)

Anyway...
Made it over to The Lovely Tall One's for another baking session. Today - simple Sausage Rolls. My pastry habit has reached the next level!

Here's a short photo guide to the longest sausage rolls in the world...

You need:
Pork sausagemeat
Ready rolled puff pastry
An egg
Herbs / spices to season (if you like)

So - get some sausage meat - add herbs to taste (we went for sage and Lea and Perrins Worcester sauce).
Choose ready rolled puff pastry (for extra lazy ones) and cut down the middle to make two long rectangles. Add the meat in a long sausage (!!) as above.

Now, use the egg as food glue to seal the rolls, fold the pastry over and push together.
Then add some decorative 'slashing' to allow the rolls to cook throughly.

We went with faces... :) then cover with egg to ensure non burnt rolls.
Put into the oven on 200•C for about 20/25 mins - or until yummy looking ...

EH VOILA!

Sorted. NOM. :)

Anyone feeling generous...

Along with the rest of the UK, I've had enough of the weather and would very much like to drag the Tall One off on our travels already!
Does anyone fancy helping us?
We accept all major credit cards or paypal.
Wouldn't want anyone to go out on this weather to get cash ;)

Much love

Finders keepers...

I love finding forgotten clothes in te cupboards an wardrobes of the house!

Found myself delightfully reunited with this Polka Dot beauty yesterday! It's a River Island Classic from approx. 5 years ago.
Gloriously dotty and underworn!

Perfect for Sunday lunch :)
Excuse the minion case....

Cakey cake cake....

We love cakes in our office, much the same as every other office in the world.

What we love more than just cakes, is cakes made with love, care and a bit of flair.

So, behold the coffee cupcake - a Bryony Hughes special (actually her birthday tomorrow!).
Made with coffee and Tia Maria icing, they were incredible with my mid tea and made an other normal Friday a little bit more awesome :)

Also - George (our team mascot) loves a tea and particularly enjoyed the cupcake too!
